In Argentina!

wow i cant tell you how hard this work is. Argentina is so different but I'm starting to love it. my companion is hermana carrillo and shes a native speaker. does not speak in English. shes from Buenos Aries in the south. shes 22 and super nice, very loving and patient. especially since its hard to communicate.

 

my first day out in the field was hard. it was like i didn't know anything. you just go straight into it. i sure do not know this language. but its okay because heavenly father helps me with everything. when i teach the people i feel gods love for them and its so much that i cant even describe it. the people here are so loving and nice. we only have a few that just ignore us or say something mean. they usually always listen. 

 

my companion thinks i am funny because i say hi to everyone and i usually don't know what they say back. one guy said i love you and i was like oh bien usted? its funny. lots of boys call me pretty on the street and i have no clue! hahah I'm not conceited i promise. 

 

its amazing oh the spirit guides you to people. i had an experience the other day. i saw this man sitting, he looked sad but i felt like i had to go talk to him. so i told my companion that we should. he let us teach him a lesson right there. and while we were teaching he started to cry he said that it was joy. i told him that i was grateful that i talked to him and that i felt the spirit. anyway amazing. i cant explain how good i felt. 

 

my first day was hot but these past days its freezing!! i hope that melody is okay because i hear its colder over there. the food here is good i haven't gotten sick. and I'm sure I'm going to gain weight because they eat ALOT of pasta in HUGE portions. and we don't walk as much as i thought. we take the bus a lot. hah that's my companions fault. but time really does fly here so those few minutes are important!
