{July 21st}

Bueno mis amores!!! 

How are you all doing!!?? As you now i left off being sick. well i worse again. on wednesday i had a fever and was super stuffed and congested. so again lots of sleeping in but i did go out to work. im not sure if that was smart? you would understand as a missionary. i just cant stop working!!!!! thanks to the presidents lovely wife, she told me what i needed to take. turns out that i got a bacterial infection so im taking amoxicilin and lots of vitamin c!!! im doing better but im still achey and stuffed.

The lord blesses his sick missionaries. i didnt get to work a lot like i wanted to but we were able to complete our goals. we had 5 investigators in sacrament meeting. Olga is my pride and joy!! and is getting baptized this friday on the 26th!!! she is so excited and reading everything that she can find on baptism. Graciela came also and so far is not smoking!!! she should be getting baptized in August. but we have a new problem she wont say that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet so we´re trying to help her gain a testimony. Also Leo came again and his friend Facundo haha seriously they came at the right time because yesterday the class was on the word of wisdom. we also had Marisel come for the first time her family are members.

Lots of things are changing here in the mission. and i know that our new president is being guided by our Heavenly Father. we have started to focus more on the less active members. im excited to be a more blanced missionary working with all the aspects of missionary work. lets hope i get better this week. ive been sick for like a month now and its different every week!! pray for my dear investigators that they may overcome their addictions and go through a true repentance.

{July 14th} I hope you all we´re rooting for ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!‏

Well as y´all know we got to watch the semi finales here in Argentina! and we won thanks to penales, so WE went to the finals!!!!! well Argentina did. We did not get permission to watch the finals on sunday but its okay i could hear our neighbors. Sadly Germany won. but its okay Argentina is always going to be in mi corazón. Hey Mel i hope that you were rooting for argentina. i love youu.

I got better but now i just have a sore throat and a cough. but it doesnt stop me from working!! Olga is on a roll!!!!! still not smoking and going strong. so she should be getting baptized the 26th. Graciela started to smoke again after the first day. but we got her to try again starting saturday and well yesterday melanie told me she started smoking again. Necesito mucho paciencia! its all good in the Lords time it will happen.

We had one of our new investigators, Leo, whos 21 come to church for the first time. He crazy he came to church with 2 hours of sleep. He really likes to drink and party. but he said that he wants to stop with our help. 

Well im looking forward to this week, i hope the people arent too sad about the game. but im ready to have some people focused! hahah.

Im doing great and my new president is great. i hope you all are doing well!!!!!!! i love you alll very much!! muchísimo!!! :) take care

{July 7th} Happy 4th!

My dearest family and friends,

Thanks for all your love and prayers!!! Sadly, I got rid of the sore throat. But on Wednesday, I didnt feel very well but i wanted to work anyways. My stomache was killing me all day and we went to the seat that we had with Graciela at 5:30 in the afternoon. As soon as i walked into her house , I was like Hna. Olson, I´m gonna throw up! I threw down my things as ran to the bathroom and well enough said. we kept working that night even though i wasnt feeling great which probably wasnt very smart. The whole entire night i was throwing up... and the next day i stayed in bed and did not eat one thing. I drank water and gatorade. Poor Mel we are twins!! i had to stay in the house for 3 days. its been a week of not eating anything because my stomache has been killing me.

Happy 4th!!!! hahaha yes, we did something. I made a fire in the back of our patio!! i felt soo legit being from Panaca and all! hahahaha. and i read in the white bible (mission manual) and it didnt say anything about fires. we are safe and sound with some american pride here!

As in today, im feeling better and my appetite is coming back. Olga starting smoking again so we have to wait it out. keep her in your prayers! Graciela yesterday was her first day without smoking so pray for her too. Yesterday after church she got a blessing to help her out through the process. Great news!!! Argentina A FULLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! As Yáll know, Argentina is playing in the semi finals. and yes, of course im rooting for them! Good news, we got permission from our new President Robertson, to watch the game with members!!! 

Im hoping for a better week with better health. not working while im here in the mission is the worst feeling. Mel i hope you are feeling better!!! I love you all and hope you all are doing well. Take care mis queridos!!!

11 Months!

Alrighty, so luckily last week i had a little time to write for my ward. i think it was short and sweet. its true the mission makes you really busy! i hope my ward understood what i was trying to get across. This week i was sick so it was a lot of rest and then going out to work! the other night my sore throat got so bad that i felt like my air way got cut off. but hey today i am doing so much better!!! :) 

We now have a new president, president Robertson! im looking forward to get to know him. All i know is that he served a mission in Brasil. anyway i´ll update you all next week.

Yesterday, Olga, had her baptismal interview and the Elder felt like she needed one more week. she is going strong! and is not smoking :) i know that she will be getting baptized this month. Also Graciela, is doing great really progressing and she says that she´s getting baptized the 19th. i believe it so! she always keeps her word so please pray for them both. Abraham, didnt come to church sadly but we are working with his family and they all are so sweet. Ive never had an investigator that has problems with ilegal drugs. so i hope figure out a plan with the help from the Lord.

As in today, Mel and I have 11 months in the mission. i cant believe it because time flies by sooo fast. next month we´ll have a year! thats just insane to think about. i love my mission and im so grateful that im out here. im changing for the better. i love you all!! you all are in my prayers.

{June 23rd}

What a great week!!!! With great news i am still in morón and im still with Hna Olson!!! :) my first comp for more than one transfer. a miracle!!! Also i got some news... Sadly, Olga started smoking again so we had to move her baptism date. But good news yesterday she came to church and told me she stopped smoking again but that it had only been 2 days so far. so please keep her in your prayers.

Melanie got baptized the 21st and got comfirmed yesterday as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. Graciela, her mom, cried and i know that she felt the spirit. she told me shes wants to get baptized but first has to have a change of heart. i know that she can have this change of heart thanks to the atonement of Jesucristo. please keep her in your prayers also she needs to stop smoking.

We had a new investigator come to church! his name is Abraham he´s 23. He really wants to make a change with his life. he´s had a huge problem with drugs since he was 14. i know that he will have this change if he puts in his will and with the time of the Lord.

Hna olson and i are doing great!!! im so happy and the Lord is helping me with everything. i know that this is true and only true church here upon the earth which has the proper authority of God. amo a cada uno de ustedes!!!! ustedes tienen mi corazón!! :)
