Cambio! New Comp from the US.

Hola!!!!!!!!!

Faaa i have a lot of noticias. As you know, i am a senior companion and i was with Hna Urquia from Honduras. Well by suprise only after a week and a few days i recieved cambios again! I am now with Hermana Redford and we´re both babies in mission. I´ll be completing 6 months at the end of this month and she´ll have 7. She only has 3 months in Argentina. Shes from Denver, Colorado and 21 years old.

The reason why i recieved cambios is because i had no clue but to be frank Hna. Urquia wasnt happy in the mission. and she had written the president that she wanted to go home many times. and i guess after everything it came down to her choice. to be honest i cried so hard that night finding out that she was going home. I wasnt upset with her or anything ive just never felt so much sadness because the mission has brought me so much joy and im learning so much everyday. You might not know me when i get back. I´ve had some really low points and i could choose to be sad all the time. But the joy i have felt seeing my investigadores going into the waters of baptism. Seeing the change that the gospel brings... that overthrows all of my sad moments.I am proud of hna urquia because if youre not happy you need to do something about it. and that is between her and the lord.

I never thought that i would have a comp from the US but i do. and shes actually helping me out a lot with the language. we are now known as the two rubias! hahaah los dos "yankees". I am happy to be here in argentina and in this mission. Es la mejor misión de todo del mundo! :) El Evangelio es verdadero! Te amo!!!!

Week of January 20th: Senior Companion :o

Hola mis amigos y familia!!!!

This week of being senior companion i have learned a lot about myself. the things that i am capable of doing. Those of you who know me know that i am a huge worry-wort a stresser. But guess what ive been keeping it all calm. i have a huge testimony of oración (prayer) i know that the Lord is listening to my prayers. He listens to yours too.

Everyone is capable of things that they dont ever imagine. we just have to do our part and put our trust in the Lord, Jesus Christ, and our Heavenly Father. if we do all that we can they do the rest. i know that this is true because im experiencing it everyday in my mission. i hope that we all can live up to our potential. Remember that we are children of a king, of God our heavenly father. Recuerda que todos somos hijos de Dios, un rey. please remember that you are special and royalty literally.

i am so grateful for the time i have to serve my heavenly father and jesus christ. its going by too fast... my comp is so sweet and shes helping me a lot shes my support. this week was good we had 2 investigdores come to church. im hoping the next week we will have 5. i love you all. Week of January 13th

Hola!!!

okay so i have a lot of news this week. it was sure one crazy week. First off monday started off very hard for my comp. Sadly, she received news that her grandmother had passed away. She is such a great example to me because yes, she did cry and wasnt feeling well. But she worked hard anyway. Goodness shes strong.

Then the 10th the day before our baptism we had a horrible storm, no really horrible. For a second i thought that it was a hurricane. I testify that the Lord really does protect his missionaries. we were teaching a lesson and it was bright outside and within 25min it went dark and gray. lots of lighting everywhere. so we finished the lesson and went running! and as soon has we got to the door the storm started. for day and a half we didnt have light or water. gee that was hard.

our baptism was the next day of Richard and Kiara. we prayed that there would be water in the church to fill up the pool. when we got to the church there was not one drop of water. after all the calling we found a member who had a pool filled with water. because in this moment no one in 25 de Mayo had water. So we had a baptism at the members house for Richard and Kiara and its was something really special.

Now some more news last night we got called by our zone leaders. and im so sad my companion got changed to a new area. so now i have a new companion and heres the huge news i am now a senior companion. im super nervous about being a senior comp but i know that its what the Lord wants and if i put in my all everything will work out.

My new comp is Hermana Urquia de Honduras and she has 7 months in the mission. well im doing great im still in 25 de mayo. and im alive and doing well! I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ! The true restored church on earth.

LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
