Happy Thanksgiving!

hello everyone!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! :)

Make sure that you eat all of the stuffing and try every different kind of pie for me. But don´t go into a food coma haha.

this week has been good, once again hard but you know this is never easy. Josefina has been teaching with us which is so good!! shes amazing. Guillermo should be receiving the priesthood soon. Gabriel is inactivo i don't know what to do to get that boy to go to church. he goes to institute and everything but not church.

we had 13 investigadores who said that would be going to church. we only had one of them come. we are trying to do all that we can to get them to come to church. we sure have a lot of investigadores but we need them to progress. we have a goal of bringing 2 souls into the waters of baptism. and we´re going to do everything that we can to make that possible.

i am now starting to die of heat here. its horrible with the humidity its like no other i´ve felt before!! i am starting to eat like crazy because of the heat and with all this walking. its only spring and I'm dying haha. oh great... oh well!!! oh the ups and downs are amazing!!! yo se que vive mi senor.

LOVE YOU ALL!!! Hermana Anderson

So, Elder Holland talked to me and my comp

FAAA (wow) this week has been definitely a great one. Saturday as missionaries we had a meeting with Elder Holland and his sweet wife Patricia. Their messages sunk deep into my heart. we as missionaries are represenitives of Jesucristo, literally. this is a time where i forget all of the things of the world. devote all my time, heart, mind, soul, strength... TODO(all) for Him. i cant express all of the things are learned because theres so many. but i do know that this time, my mission, is a great gift. and i cant waste one minute of it. one thing that he said that really got to me is that. "I cant promise that you´ll convert a million souls, but i can promise you one thing... You can be the one truly, deeply converted."

this is a time where i am changing and i have never felt so much joy with all the ups and downs. the one thing is how much closer i feel to God and to Jesus Christ. we all can become truly, deeply converted. and thats because of the son Jesucristo did everything, prepared us a way to volver con Dios, nuestro Padre Celestial. we can change through the atonement.

so sunday im so lucky, no so grateful. i got the opportunity to listen to Elder Holland again. in my stake we had a stake conference with him in the church where i serve. again the messages were amazing muy amorosa. we explained that he is in argentina because in this time the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints is growing like crazy right now. we have about 3 thousand stakes in the world. and there hadnt been an general authority in my area for 33 years.

okay i want share something!!! i happened to be in the right place at the right time. i was outside of the church looking for investigators and elder Holland happened to be entering the church. i didnt say anything because i didnt want to be some crazy girl screaming. he looked at me and my comp and said, "Hermanas!! how are you?" (with so much excitement) and i shook his hand and i looked into his eyes. might sound silly but just with who he is i felt so much love. i know that he is called of god. i know that he is a man of God and has so much love for all of us.

anyway only really talked about Elder Holland but that´s seriously greatest part of my week and that my investigators got the chance to listen to him live. love you all!!!!!!!!!!! la iglesia es verdadera! :)

Week of November 11th

hello everyone! I'm doing well. as usual this week has also been a hard one. still adapting to having a new companera. but everything is all good. this week we need not have one investigator come to church. we worked so hard to get them to come to church. we even went to their houses so that we could go together. but when we went to their houses they didn't answer. Gabriela didn't go to church this week hopefully we can contact her and that shes doing well.
We found a complete family! Nadia y Ariel and they have 2 little girls. so cute! its amazing how people can feel the spirit. Ariel has just started to believe in god again and we found him at the right moment. he said that he could see our happiness and the spirit and wants to go to our church.

Guillermo is doing well and should be receiving the priesthood this week. Jorge y Josefina my other parents also are doing well!! sharing the gospel everywhere they go. with their neighbors and friends. A testimony can do so many things. Gabriel hasn't been coming to church for a while because of his job. this week is going to be amazing. i promise.

Elder Holland is coming to Padua!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my area. for a stake conference. the building where i go to church... i am so excited and so grateful that i have this opportunity to hear him speak live for the first time in my life. maybe ill get to shake his hand. its also pretty intimidating because i really want to impress him as a missionary. anyway sorry if you all are jealous. haha kidding. know that i love you all and your in my prayers!!!!

Mission With a New Companion

Hello everyone!!!

This week was also very hard. could you guess? I have a new companion her name is Hermana Gomez and she´s 23 so i feel like a baby. shes from Guatemala and she has 16 months in her mission so she doesn't have much time left. i do miss hermana carrillo but its part of the mission.

we had a hermanas conference on the 31st HALLOWEEN! it was a very spiritual halloween for me haha. i really did learn a lot and gee i love the food here. es un problema. i got to speak English for a while in the conference of the hermanas it was nice to understand everything! i got to hermana carrillo again and hermana stevens from the mtc. it was a great day.

this week was hard planning and completing our goals for me it was because i always had help from hermana carrillo. Ive learned that i am horrible with a map! haha but its okay I'm learning.

i contacted a girl the street waiting for the bus. she was so nice and said she would go to church. well guess what she came to church!!!! we taught her the restoration after church and asked her the baptism question and she said yes. her name is Gabriela shes 26 and has a cute little girl. who i could not control during sacrament meeting. theres really nothing i can do because i cant touch her. anyway im happy and cant wait to see Gabriela grow and change.

Jorge y Josefina are doing great!!! and Guillermo so great. jorge and josefina are the gospel with their friends. guillermo is excited to receive the priesthood. anyways all is good and well.
love you all!!! and thanks for the letters and all of the love i really do need it.

con amor,

Hermana Anderson
