1 Month Mark! :)

Hola everyone!

this week has been so crazy and exciting. i just got back from the temple and im so grateful that i have the opportunity to go every week. on tuesday i got to hear Neil L. Andersen speak and he focused on love and sacrifice. that love and sacrifice started with our Heavenly Father and His beloved son, Jesus Christ. I sang in the choir again hoping that Mel would see me in the live broadcast. I miss her soooo much!!! After that devotional i got the chance to walk back in the pouring rain. lots of fun! I had a cold already so esta bein.

so super exciting news everyone!!! the other day i found out that i have received a tourist visa to Argentina! I will going start to Argentina on Sep. 9th. Ahhh a tourist visa means I'll be there for 3 months and then hopefully get my actual visa by the end of that time. hopefully it will all work out. yes i know the Lord has a plan for me. My spanish is still not so good so hopefully it will come soon. I love you and miss you all!! thanks for writing me and for all your love. Yo se que el Libro de Mormón es verdadero. Estoy agradecido por la opportunidad servir. Yo se que Dios nos ama. En el nombre de Jesucristo, amen.

(Almost) 1 Month in the MTC!

Hello everyone! this past week has been super crazy and busy. One of the elders in my district messed up his ACL and was sent home for surgery. I hope that he´s doing alright! Everyone in my zone/district is getting sick. hah i think it goes around to everyone in the mtc! No bueno! I can't believe that I will be leaving Sep 9th! And it's already almost been a month. Its crazy how fast things go. The days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days!! I probably won't be getting my visa and will have to go state side for a while. But hey that's okay! :) The Lord has a plan for all of us. I guess we'll see what happens.

I have a funny story to tell I hope that it's appropriate! haha okay so i went to go take a shower and guess who forgot her towel?!! me. I didnt realize that I had forgotten it until i was done with my shower. So in embarrassment i ask one of the sisters to go get my towel and i give her my key. little did i know, i sent her to the wrong room!!!! So i stood in the shower for 10 min freezing. And then i felt like she was never coming back and by the time i realized this,i was dry. So i changed and i went off searching for my key! hahah anyway never forget your towel!! Glad I ended up finding my key on the bottom floor.

Today I went to the temple which was great and on our way back to our residence hall it started pouring! We all got super soaked haha quite hilarious. I love my comp she makes me so much better shes good at bringing me up when I'm down. I'm grateful that I can pray to my Heavenly Father anytime and anywhere. He is ALWAYS there; I promise. I know that I can't do this work without Him. I love this gospel its amazing how it has changed my life and is changing my life. I can already feel like I am becoming a better person. I love you all and thanks for writing me!! It makes my day :)

P-Day #2!

Hey everyone! this week has been so AMAZING! I mean yes, I am still struggling with the language but that's okay. I have to stay positive and be patient. As you know today is my pday and it has been great. I just got back from the temple; I love it there.

Tuesday evening we have a devotional and guess who came to speak!?!? I got to be in the presence of Richard G. Scott!!!!! His spirit is so strong. He focused on how we should communicate with our Father in Heaven. We should go to Him in prayers always. Talking out loud to Him makes it more personal. Pour out the desires of your heart. I sang in the choir hoping that Melody would see me. It was the first live broadcast to all of the mtc's around the world. How cool is that!?!

My comp and I went to TRC where we teach members of the church for the first time. I felt the spirit so strong and I was able to say things in spanish that i couldnt remember before. It amazing how the Lord will help you in the times that you need or if the person your teaching needs to hear it. I am very happy for my choice even though it's super hard. I know that the Lord is helping me and will help me. My struggles are for a reason to make me stronger. I hope you all are doing well. I love you. Our Heavenly Father loves you!!
Love,
